ஓங்கி உலகளந்த உத்தமன் பேர்பாடி
நாங்கள்நம் பாவைக்குச் சாற்றி நீராடினால்
தீங்கின்றி நாடெல்லாம் திங்கள் மும்மாரி பெய்து
ஓங்கு பெறும் செந்நெல் ஊடு கயலுகளப்
பூங்குவளைப் போதில் பொறிவண்டு கண்படுப்பத்
தேங்காதே புக்கிருந்து சீர்த்த முலைபற்றி
வாங்க குடம் நிறைக்கும் வள்ளல் பெரும்பசுக்கள்
நீங்காத செல்வம் நிறைந்தேலோர் எம்பாவாய்.

இந்தப் பாடலில், பாவை நோன்பு மேற்கொண்டு, நாராயணனின் நாமத்தைப் பாடினால், கிடைக்கும் நன்மைகளை ஆண்டாள் விளக்குகிறாள்.

முன்னொரு காலத்தில், மாவலியின் கர்வத்தை அடக்க, இரண்டடியாலே மூன்று உலகையும் அளந்த உத்தமானாம் ஸ்ரீ நாராயணனின் பெயரைப் பாடுவோமாகில்,

1. தீங்கு விளைவிக்காது, மாதம் தோரும் மூன்று முறை மழை பொழியும் (அறம் வழுவா அரசருக்கென்று ஒரு மழை, கற்புடைய பெண்களுக்கென்று ஒரு மழை மற்றும் வேதம் ஓதும் அந்தணருக்கென்று ஒரு மழை). தற்போது மழை பெய்து ஓரிடத்தில் தீங்கு விளைகிறது, மழை பெய்யாமல் ஓரிடத்தில் தீங்கு விளைகிறது. இதற்குரிய காரணம் புரிந்திருக்கும்.
2. வயல்களில், நெற்கதிர்கள் உயர்ந்து வளரும் (நிலவளம் பெருகும்)
3. நீர்நிலைகளில் மீன்கள் விளையாடும் (அப்படியெனில் நீர் வளம் மிகுந்திருக்கும்)
4. குவளைப் பூக்களில் வண்டுகள் எப்போதும் விளையாடிக் கொண்டே இருக்கும். தேன் குடித்து, மகரந்தத்தைப் பரப்பி, அதன் மூலம் நிறைய பூக்கள் பெருகும். சோலைகள் தழைத்து ஓங்கும்.
5. நீர், நில வளங்கள் இருந்தால், அதில் மேயும் பசுக்கள் நன்றாக ஆரோக்கியமாக இருக்கும். அதன் மடியில் அதிகப்படியான பால் சுரக்கும். குடங்களை நிரப்பிக்கொண்டே இருக்கும் அப்பசுக்கள். வள்ளல் பெரும் பசுக்கள்.

இவை நன்றாக இருந்தால், செல்வ வளத்திற்கா குறைவு? செல்வவளம் பெருகுவதோடு, அவை நீங்காமல் நிலைத்து இருக்கும் என்று பாடுகிறாள்.

பசுக்கள், விவசாயம், விவசாயம் செய்வோர், யாதவர்கள், நீர் நிலைகள், நிலங்கள், மரம், செடிகள் ஆகியவற்றை நாம் பாதுகாத்தோமானால், செழிப்புக்குக் குறைவே இருக்காது. பசுக்களிடமிருந்து கிடைக்கும் பால், தயிர், நெய், கோமியம், சாணம் ஆகியவற்றைக் கொண்டு நல்ல முறையில் வேள்வி செய்துவந்தால், உலகம் நன்றாக இருக்கும்.

In this song, Andal tells us the way to get prosperity that never evades.

If we sing the name and fame of the supreme one (uttaman) who measured the world with His feet and follow the good practices as specified for pAvai nOnbu, then we get prosperity.

What are the benefits?

1. The world will get good spells of rain without affecting lives (theengindri naadellaam), thrice a month (thingaL mummaari) - It is said for the sake of a Good and Honest King one spell, for the sake of Brahmins who do their karmAs without fail one spell and for the sake of Women who are virgin another spell. 2. The fields will be green with paddy and other grains that are well grown
3. Bees will be seen everywhere in the garden
4. Cows will give abundant milk and people will keep on filling pots after pots with milk.

Andal says if cows, farmers, lands and trees are protected the world will be full of prosperity. If you see, to perform yagna, cow's milk, urine, dung, curd and ghee from milk are needed. Rice is also needed. So perform yagna and then we will flourish. It is like a cycle. We put grains etc in agni and in return we get back prosperity. If we dont perform yagna, we will perish.
