நோற்றுச் சுவர்க்கம் புகுகின்ற அம்மனாய்
மாற்றமும் தாராரோ வாசல் திறவாதார்
நாற்றத் துழாய்முடி நாராயணன், நம்மால்
போற்றப் பறைதரும் புண்ணியனால்; பண்டுஒருநாள்
கூற்றத்தின் வாய்வீழ்ந்த கும்ப கருணனும்
தோற்றும் உனக்கே பெருந்துயில்தான் தந்தானோ?!
ஆற்ற அனந்தல் உடையாய்! அருங்கலமே!
தேற்றமாய் வந்து திறவேலோர் எம்பாவாய்.

இந்தப் பாட்டில், கேலியாக ஆண்டாள் ஆரம்பிக்கிறாள். "நோன்பு நோற்று, சுவர்க்கம் புக இருக்கும் பெண்ணே!" என்கிறாள். ஒருவர் மிகவும் மெதுவாக ஒரு செயலைச் செய்தால், "அவர் ரொம்ப சீக்கிரம் பண்ணிடுவார்" என்று சொல்வோம் அல்லவா? அதேபோல, இப்பெண்ணை ஆண்டாள் கூறுகிறாள்.

அடுத்து, "வாசற்கதவைத் தான் எழுந்து வந்து திறக்கவில்லை, ஒரு வார்த்தையாவது கூறக் கூடாதா?" என்கிறாள்.

மணமிகு துளசியை தன் மேனியில் அணியும் நாராயணனை நாம் பாடினோமானால், நமக்கு அவன் பறையைத் தருவான். புண்ணியத்தின் முழு உரு அவனே.

இவ்வாறு ஆண்டாள் பேசிக்கொண்டிருந்தும், அதைக்கேட்டு எழுந்து வரவில்லை அப்பெண். ஆதலால் ஆண்டாள் இவ்வாறு கூறுகிறாள். "முன்பொருநாள், தூக்கத்தின் கண், கட்டுண்டு விழுந்த கும்பகர்ணனும், உன்னிடத்தில் தோல்வியுற்று, பரிசாக, அவனது தூக்கத்தையே தந்தானோ? மிகுந்த தூக்கம் உடைய பெண்ணே, தெளிந்து எழுந்து வா".
என்று கூறி முடிக்கிறாள்.

In this song, Andal asks the ones who has not yet opened the doors to atleast speak a word with them as a response (mAtramum thaaraaro vaasal thiravaathaar). She calls them as the one who are going to enter the svarga lOkham by following the nOnbu (sarcastic comment).

Then she says the lord narayana who wears the tulsi garland will grant us boons if we sing His fame. He is the abode of good deeds (puNNiyan).

Now she recalls Rama avatar time. Once upon a time there was an asura named kumbakaraNa who is well known for sleep (kootRatthin vaai veezndha kumbakarananum). Saying so, Andal kids the girl sleeping inside the home that kumbakarana has lost to her in terms of sleep and gave his portion of the sleep also to her as a reward! (thOtrum unakke perunthuyithaan thandhaano).

Then she asks that girl with huge amount of sleep (aatRa ananthal udaiyaai arungalamE) to wake up (thEtRamaai vandhu) and open the door (thiRavu).
