அன்று இவ்வுலகம் அளந்தாய் அடிபோற்றி
சென்றங்குத் தென்னிலங்கை செற்றாய் திறல்போற்றி
பொன்றச் சகடம் உதைத்தாய் புகழ்போற்றி
கன்று குணிலா எறிந்தாய் கழல்போற்றி
குன்று குடையாய் எடுத்தாய் குணம்போற்றி
வென்று பகைகெடுக்கும் நின்கையில் வேல்போற்றி
என்றென்று உன் சேவகமே ஏத்திப் பறைகொள்வான்
இன்றுயாம் வந்தோம் இரங்கேலோர் எம்பாவாய்
இப்பாடல் ஒரு அர்ச்சனை பாடல் என்றே சொல்ல வேண்டும்.
முதலில் வாமனாவதாரம் பற்றி வருகிறது. முன்பொருநாள், இந்த உலகத்தை, உன் திருவடியாலே அளந்தாவனே! உனது பாதத்திற்கு என் வணக்கங்கள்.
அடுத்து இராமாவதாரம் வருகிறது. சென்று அங்குத் தென் இலங்கை செற்றாவனே! உன் வீரத்திற்கு என் வணக்கங்கள்.
இனி கண்ணனின் அவதார லீலைகள் வருகிறது.
பொன் நிறம் கொண்ட, சக்கர வடிவில் வந்த சகடாசுரனை உதைத்து அழித்த உன் புகழுக்கு என் வணக்கங்கள்.
கன்றின் வடிவில் வந்த வத்ஸாசுரனை, ஒரு கல்லாக தூக்கி, விளா மரத்தின் வடிவில் இருந்த கபித்தாசுரனின் மேல் எறிந்தவனே, உன் கழலுக்கு என் வணக்கங்கள்.
கொடிய மழையிலிருந்து, கோகுலத்தைக் காக்க, கோவர்தன மலையைக் குடையாய்ப் பிடித்தவனே, உன் தயாள குணத்திற்கு என் வணக்கங்கள்.
பகைமையை அழிக்கும் வல்லமையுடைய உன் கையில் இருக்கும் வேலுக்கு என் வணக்கங்கள்.
இவ்வாறெல்லாம் புகழ்ந்து, உனக்குச் சேவை செய்வதையே லட்சியமாக உடைய எங்களுக்குக் கருணை புரிய வேண்டும். பறை வாத்தியத்தை அருள வேண்டும்.
